The MT600Ext dinghy davits (shown with optional stabilizing strut, cam cleats, 6:1 lift kit, line and snap hooks) are constructed from thick wall .120″ X 1 1/4″ 316 stainless steel, combined with precision welded joints and built in dihedral results in a davit that’s light in weight with superior strength and durability.
Each davit comes with all the stainless steel mounting hardware needed, including; Stern Rail Mounts with Stainless Steel Reinforcing Plates, Universal Deck / Transom Mounting Brackets (including mounting bolts, and backing plates),Welded Eye Ends and integrates Stainless Steel Cleats, as well as snap hook rings.
Designed for larger sail boats, catamarans, or trawlers. Works well with dinghy’s w/ up to 15 hp. engines with a combined lifting weight of 300lbs per arm. The higher connection points (37″-48″ vs the MT600 22″-30″), makes this the choice for serious cruisers. Also available for this upgrade is the optional MT600 ext. strut bar with up to 94″ span.
